Manali, Leh Ladakh and Jispa Tour Itinerary

Day 1

MANALI – JISPA (150 kms/5-6 hrs)

Day Services: Stay and Transport
Major Attraction: Atal Tunnel Keylong

Our transporter will meet and greet you in Manali and take you on an adventurous journey to Leh. Our first destination of the tour will be Jispa. So, pack up your bags and head on for the destination while crossing through Atul Tunnel and Keylong. Arrive Jispa and enjoy an overnight stay in hotel/camp.

Standard check in Time 12:00PM and early check in will be subject to availability and extra cost will be applicable as per the hotelier policy.

Day 2

JISPA – LEH (335 KM/9-10 hrs)

Day Services: Breakfast, Dinner, Stay and Transport
Major Attraction: Baralacha Tanglang La Skyangchu Thang

After breakfast take the roads from Jispa to leh. Enroute pass through Baralacha & Taglang La, Skyangchu Thang and Indus valley. Arrive Leh and check into the hotel.

Day 3

LEH SIGHTSEEEING

Day Services: Breakfast, Dinner, Stay and Transport
Major Attraction: Shanti Stupa Hemis 3 Idiots School.

After breakfast cover the spots in and around Leh. Major tourist attractions to cover will be Shanti Stupa Hemis 3 idiot Rancho school, Druk Padma shey, Stok Palace and Central Asian Museum and Market. Return to hotel for Overnight stay.

Day 4

LEH – KHARDONG LA – NUBRA (160 KMS / 5-6 HRS)

Day Services: Breakfast, Dinner, Stay and Car
Major Attraction: Khardungla Pass Deskit & Hunder Village.

Early Morning, check out from the hotel and head on to Nubra Valley. We will drive through the famous Khardongla Pass which is one of the highest Motorable passes in the world situated at an altitude of 5359m. Other places to cover enroute will be Deskit & Hunder Villages. While visiting these villages do not forget to take a ride on Double hump Bactarian camels (ride on your own). Reach the destination and spend the night in pre-booked camps.

Day 5

NUBRA – LEH RETURN

Day Services: Breakfast, Dinner, Stay and Car
Major Attraction: Sumoor Gompa

After delicious breakfast drive back to Leh while enroute covering Sumoor Gompa. This colourful gompa set in the midst of rough mountains and scanty trees makes the landscape even more picture perfect. Reach Leh and check into the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.

Day 6

LEH – CHANG LA PASS – PANGONG (222 KMS/ 8-9 HRS)

Day Services: Breakfast, Dinner, Stay & Car
Major Attraction: Changla Pass Pangong Lake

After Breakfast, check out from the hotel and pass through one of the Highest Motorable road in the world i.e. Changla Pass (5360 m) to reach Pangong Lake (4350 m). The clear water of this lake reflects sky colour giving it a effect of changing colours from blue to turquoise/ light pink and so on throughout the day & night. Another amazing fact about this lake is that it freezes completely during winters despite being saline. Overnight stay will be in Pangong camps.

Day 7

PANGONG – LEH RETURN

Day Services: Breakfast, Dinner, Stay & Car
Major Attraction: Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace

Pack up your luggage and drive back to Leh. Enroute places to cover will be Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Reach the town and spend a comfortable night stay in hotel.

Day 8

LEH – SARCHU (260KMS/7-8 HRS)

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner, Stay and Transport

Today is the day to say goodbye to the land of mysterious and proceed to sarchu (4290 m). Reach the destination by evening and enjoy your stay at Sarchu Camps.

Day 9

SARCHU – MANALI (230KMS/7-8 HRS)

Day Services: Breakfast and Transport

After breakfast, depart for Manali while enroute covering Rohtang Pass once again. Further journey will be on your own basis....

Payments Terms

For Himachal Package Package booking 50% advance payment required.
According to hotel policy especially in 4* and 5* we required 100% payment at the time of booking.
Remaining 50 % of the package cost will be collected on arrival (First day of the Tour).
For international packages 100% advance payment required at the time of booking.
For Train and Flight 100% advance payment required at the time of booking.
In case of non-payment either advance or remaining the company has full right to stop the services.

Note

TravelTrails have listed the maximum number of sightseeing that can be covered in a day. However, few places may not be possible to visit due to heavy snowfall / traffic jams/ limited time/ closed roads or monuments/ unforeseen incidents etc.

THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE TRAVEL

Avoid travelling if you do not feel physically fit or check with your doctor before embarking for Leh Ladakh Trip.
Please carry Identity Proofs (Driver License/Adhaar/PAN), Passport size Photographs and at least 5 photocopies of Permits.
Since Leh Ladakh region is a remote area, do not forget to keep extra cash, battery backups.
Carry AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) Relievers, Portable Oxygen Cylinders, Medical Kit, Hygiene and Cosmetic products.
If symptoms of AMS persist, shift to lower altitude place. You can resume your trip as soon as you feel confident to move forward.
Appetite and digestion changes with high altitude so stay hydrated and avoid heavy meals, smoking and alcohols.
Carry Warm, comfortable and waterproof clothes along with some summer apparels.
Leh Ladakh faces high connectivity issues and only Post-paid numbers (esp. BSNL nos.) work in this region.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All the cancellations must be communicated in written.
Token amount is non refundable in any cases.
Cancellations made 15 Days prior to travel date will attract cancellation charges.
Cancellations charges will vary from 25 % - 50% of the total tour package cost.
100 % Retention charges will be levied for bookings canceled within 15 days of travel date or
No show scenarios.
No refunds will be given in case of missed or unused services. This includes Flights, Trains Hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry ticket, permits or any other BBH services.
TravelTrails have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient Advance Amount i.e. 50% of the total tour Package Cost.
In case, clients are suspected to indulge in any kind of illegal activity or violent behaviour, TravelTrails will immediately stop the services while holding all the refunds.
